PrimeTime Ministry

Our Mission:
To provide opportunities to honor, cherish, and disciple prime time adults within Woodbridge Church of the Nazarene and throughout our community. We aim to provide opportunities to fellowship together, care for one another, disciple each other, and mentor the future generation.

What We’re About:
Our purpose is to celebrate and nurture prime time adults (ages 55+) as lifetime disciples of Jesus Christ who are real, relevant, and relational. To this end, our guiding principles are:
 
1 Peter 5:1-4 (NIV)
“To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s sufferings, who will also share in the glory to be revealed: Be shepherd’s of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them – not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.”

Psalm 92:12-14 (NKJV):
“The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree,
He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Those who are planted in the house of the Lord
Shall flourish in the courts of our God.
They shall still bear fruit in old age;
They shall be fresh and flourishing.”

 
When We Meet:
We meet at various times throughout the year for fellowship activities, service projects, outreach events, and discipleship.
