Searching the Truth
We take our mission to “Make Christ-Like Disciples in the Nations who are Real, Relevant, and Relational” very seriously. We believe discipleship best occurs as we experience life together. This happens effectively as we Search the Truth, Share Life, and Serve Others together.Searching the Truth is not just a lecture-based Bible study, or learning a list of beliefs or do’s and don’ts. A disciple is always learning, always growing, always developing, and always being conformed into the image of Christ. It involves everyone in the group personally preparing for and engaging in the group’s discussions. Becoming a disciple is not just listening to someone else read the Bible; it requires a personal commitment to learning the Bible and sharing what you have learned.
The following examples are some ways in which we Search the Truth together at Woodbridge Church of the Nazarene:
- Men’s Bible Studies (S.A.L.T.)
