Sharing life
We take our Mission to “Make Christ-Like Disciples in the Nations who are Real, Relevant, and Relational” very seriously. We believe discipleship best occurs as we experience life together. This happens effectively as we Search the Truth, Share Life, and Serve Others together.Sharing Life Together is probably more important in the process of discipleship than even Searching the Truth. How can that be? We have a saying around here that has probably been heard before, but we truly live by it “People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care!” True discipleship can only begin once a trust relationship is built. Then as we search the truth together, we will trust others to speak into our lives the things they have learned and experienced. There is no other way to develop this than to share life together.
The following examples are some ways in which we Share Life together at Woodbridge Church of the Nazarene:
Life Groups are the primary method for sharing life together:
– Women’s monthly dinners/breakfasts
